 Motion Evolution is the most comprehensive youth fitness program available today!  Our program positively influences children by teaching fitness and nutrition in order to live a healthy lifestyle. In our fun fitness group classes, every child learns team building skills, healthy competition and how to achieve their personal best! 

                   Class Descriptions and Schedule - $65/month

Kid Motion (ages 4-6 yrs)     Tues/Thur @ 3:30pm   or  Saturday @ 9am

Kid Motion (ages 7-9 yrs)     Tues/Thur @ 4:30pm   or  Saturday @ 10am

Kid Motion (ages 8-12 yrs)   Tues/Thur @ 5:30pm  or  Saturday @ 11am

   

Childhood obesity and chronic inactivity is a growing problem in our communities and all over the world.  By teaming up with Motion Evolution, our mission is to counteract obesity and inactivity by transforming fitness into an enjoyable priority for children.

It is flexible and adaptable to accomodate the vast differences in children. When you put it all together, it's easy to see why this program is receiving national and international attention.

Motion Evolution's key

features of the program are:

  • Physical Literacy: Children learn the ABC's of the alphabet system, the 123's of the numeric system, and often the notes of a musical system. It teaches the elements of the physical development system to enhance learning capabilities in all areas of life. Using elements such as eye/hand and eye/foot coordination, along with jumping, agility, motor skills, balance, inversions, weight transfers, rolling and twisting, it provides a well-rounded platform for life.
  • Mind Body Connections: It is based on scientific brain development principles. Exercise really activates the frontal cortex area of the brain. So what you see, and what you get, are people who are sharper. They're more attentive, they're less impulsive, and they're less fidgety. They can sustain their attention longer, and it promotes their ability to sort through information and take it in.
  • Personal Best: Based on only the personal best of each child (as opposed to the competition model more commonly found in traditional institutions and programs), it encourages healthy mental and emotional approaches to measuring true progress in all areas of life.
  • Nutritional Education: It gently and playfully informs children about what, why, when and how to eat. This is essentially the nutritional literacy system that must accompany a physical literacy program.
  • Movement through Play and Teamwork: FUN is the mode in which children prefer to learn new things. It utilizes games that develop a wide array of qualities in children. These include spatial awareness, memory, social skills, self control, leadership skills, field/ground discrimination, listening, and many others.
  • Wellness Motivation: creates a motivating physical activity environment for children. It delivers a higher level of perceived competence and self esteem in each child.
