Children 4-6 years of age

Children, ages 4 to 6 years of age are able to learn a more advanced sequence of swim face down, rolling onto their back to rest and breathe and returning to swim face down again. (swim-float-swim)! They continue to practice and retain their swimming and water safety survival skills by attending group lessons. Basic strokes are introduced when the child has mastered the swim-float-swim sequence. Swim Otters teaches freestyle swimming with rhythmic breathing, backstroke, breaststroke and the butterfly.
